Dear Colleague,

The World Workshop Steering Committee has begun the process of planning WWOM VI. The meeting is scheduled to take place April 5-11 2014  in Orlando, Florida, USA, and will be held in conjunction with the inaugural joint meeting of the European Academy of Oral Medicine (EAOM) and the American Academy of Oral Medicine (AAOM).

The members of the WWOM Steering Committee would appreciate feedback about previous workshops from those of you who participated in the past, and ideas from all of you (irrespective of past participation) as we plan this meeting.  We are committed to promoting international awareness and interest in WWOM VI.  To this end, we are also developing a structured governance process that encourages wide participation of the international oral medicine community .

The Steering Committee is also committed to designing a transparent plan for choosing participants for WWOM VI.  This plan will be distributed to the international oral medicine community in first quarter 2012.
